This course is designed to help presales professionals understand and design storage solutions based on the Scality RING product. It includes everything in the Sales Training Program as well as additional information relevant to a pre-sales audience.

Participating in this course will help you:

  • Understand the key market drivers impacting the storage industry today
  • Learn about the core technologies that power modern software-based and scale-out storage systems
  • Identify the key use cases for a software-based storage system
  • Design and propose solutions to meet your customers business and technology requirements
  • Optional: Earn a Scality certification based on project submission and review with the Scality training team

Note: This course is delivered as a self-paced online training and includes 150 minutes of video training, 60 minutes of interactive quizzes, 2 hours of hands-on RING experience.

There is an optional final project for those wishing to obtain the "Scality Sales Ambassador" certification.

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the types of challenges that can be addressed with a Scality system. It is a subset of the more in depth Pre-Sales training and is great place to start for sales and marketing professionals.

Participating in this course will help you:

  • Understand the key market drivers impacting the storage industry today
  • Learn about the core technologies that power modern software-based and scale-out storage systems
  • Identify the key use cases for a software-based storage system
  • Help to identify targets and qualify in/out the correct opportunities

Note: This course is delivered as a self-paced online training and includes 100 minutes of video training and 20-30 minutes of interactive quizzes. There is an optional final project for those wishing to obtain the "Scality Sales Champion" certification.

The Scality Technical Certification Program is a certification framework to provide our partners with the foundation and education necessary to install, configure, and manage the Scality RING software-defined storage platform, as well as increase customer satisfaction through tailored and personalized support.

Those goals are achieved through two different tracks: the Delivery Certification and Support Certification.
